The 30-minute slot system

Entry runs on a fixed schedule: 9:15, 9:45, 10:15, 10:45, and so on throughout the day. Each group — booked online or at the gate — enters at their assigned slot. The cave is not a drop-in visit; you have a time. Arrive about 10 minutes before: 9:05 for a 9:15 slot, 10:05 for a 10:15 slot. The tour itself takes roughly 50 minutes on the route.

No daily times are reliable without checking the official site

I do not publish "the cave opens at 9:00" and "closes at 18:00" because those times change by season, by year, and sometimes by public holidays. First slot and last slot

The first weekday slot is usually the 9:15 free slot (Monday–Friday). The first paid slot typically follows at 9:45 or later, depending on the season. The last slot of the day is usually in the late afternoon (around 17:00–17:30 in summer). Off-season (November–March), the cave may close by 15:00 or 16:00. Book or walk up?

If you book online (€16 via GetYourGuide), you lock a timed slot with no queue. If you walk up to the gate, you buy a ticket at current prices and join the queue for the next available slot. In summer, the next available slot can be 30 minutes to an hour away. Book online if you want certainty about timing.
